Major Challenges

The challenges of the business were simple and straight. They didn’t have an online presence for local keywords on the internet and social media.  ❌ This is a huge market as there is a craze for getting into government jobs in India. Following the trend, there are already a lot of players providing coaching classes all over India including Gujarat. 

❌ This made things difficult even for us, as there were already a lot of established and new local coaching centers trying to get to the same magical top three positions on SERPs.

✅ On-page SEO

The client’s coaching center website needed the fixing of on-page factors. Here is the on-site solution we performed on our client’s website. ● Keyword research – It’s important to be careful while performing keyword research for local businesses. Regular keyword research tools will not work as now we are aiming for local keywords with high relative search volume and low completion. These keywords are “Coaching services”, “Career coaching”, and “Skills development” for the website.Keyword integration – The local keywords that we researched earlier should be added to the heading, website content, blogs, and descriptions. Be very careful while adding keywords to content, avoid adding keywords to irrelevant content like the middle of a test series and important study materials covering important and complex topics.

Technical SEO

There were some technical issues on the client’s site. Here is the list of technical issues on the client’s website and how we fixed them.  ● Speed optimization – Speed is very important when there are already a lot of competitors competing for the attention of students on our client’s coaching center site. A delay of a second and you can lose thousands of student visitors. We removed unnecessary CSS and Java scripts and cookies from the client’s website that were responsible for increasing the loading time of the pages. After optimization, we brought their site’s loading time to under one second.  ● Image optimization – The quality of images cannot be compromised for the coaching or training centers. A lot of students are dependent on them for study materials and test series. But high definition images decrease the loading time of the website. To overcome this problem, we used a free (CDN) content delivery network from Cloudflare. When you are using CDN, there are negligible chances of error and slow loading speeds. Because CDN distributes the data of the website into different servers. ● XML Sitemap – We generated the sitemap for the coaching center site with all relevant URLs. Uploaded it to the client’s website root directory. Added a reference to the sitemap in the robots.txt file. Submitted it to Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools. After completing the process, we checked for errors and fixed them. ● Breadcrumbs – Breadcrumbs are navigational aid that shows the hierarchical structure of a website. To implement breadcrumbs, add HTML markup with structured data to each webpage. This helps users understand their current position and easily navigate back to previous pages. Breadcrumbs improve user experience and search engine crawlability. Test the breadcrumbs for proper functionality and styling across different devices and browsers on your or your client’s website. ● Fixing OG tags – To fix OG tags, we updated the title, description, and image tags. Ensuring the title is concise and descriptive, the description is engaging, and the image is relevant. Validated the tags using Facebook’s Sharing Debugger. Test the shared link on social media platforms to confirm proper display. Monitor and iterate based on feedback. Adhere to platform-specific guidelines. As shown in the figure, the organic growth for our client’s coaching center website is seen.

✅ Off-page SEO

Off-page SEO refers to optimization techniques and strategies implemented outside of a website to improve its search engine rankings and increase online visibility. It involves activities such as building backlinks from authoritative and relevant websites, social media engagement, and online reputation management. Our Off-page SEO aimed to enhance our client’s coaching center website’s credibility, authority, and popularity in the eyes of users and search engines.

● Outreach Technique –  We performed guest blogging and content promotion under this technique and created valuable and shareable content to attract natural backlinks. We used local SEO when we are working for businesses in specific geographic locations. To perform local SEO you have to carefully add local keywords (which is usually the name of a place or city) to the meta title, meta descriptions, H1/H2 heading, and content on your website. Added all the relevant details of your business like opening hours, services or products you provide, address, and phone number. 

● GBP posting –  With GMB posting, businesses can create and share updates, offers, events, and other content directly on their Google My Business profile. GMB postings appear in local search results and on Google Maps, allowing businesses to engage with customers, promote their products or services, and drive traffic to their website or physical store. We created the business profile for our client. Adding the necessary details and posting GMB posts with relevant keywords.
