About Client

Our client was the owner of an ecommerce store in India. We signed the client intending to get more calls and walk-ins, specifically from Bangalore or nearby locations. We suggested starting Local SEO services from us.

Through E-commerce SEO, the online store gains a rank higher in search engine results. This improved our client’s ecommerce store website visibility and drove more people to buy tile products. We employed different techniques, like an easy-to-use website and choosing the right keyword. This helps get more sales to our client’s store.

Our Optimized SEO Solutions

On-page SEO: The content has not been optimized considering all on-page SEO factors. Moreover, product pages and product category pages were lacking with proper keywords, internal links, high-quality images with proper alt texts, and meta content. We found an issue in the pop-up form placed on the homepage that failed to gather customer details for our client’s ecommerce store.

Local SEO: The client was diligent in focusing only on Bangalore or nearby cities for their outlet in Bangalore. The challenge is their GMB profile was not verified and optimized and the phone number on the GMB was not getting verified by Google.

Technical SEO: The client’s website was huge, and there are tons of products on their site. This meant the website certainly had technical issues like broken links, crawling issues, and schema data, which was the barrier to ranking well in search engines.

Competition: The ecommerce store owner wanted to outrank its competitor, and someone named other tiles shops to their domain name. It was a tiny challenge to outrank the domain name for Tiles Shop.

✅ Off-page SEO: The business owner was not aware of the different strategies and tactics in off-page activities like premium business listings, GMB reviews, foundational links from high-authority websites, Profile creations, and more.

As shown in the figure below, the organic keywords increased from 4256 to 7180 (68.93%), and also the referring domains increased to 389%.

 Fixed the schema data: Our SEO experts identified technical issues on the ecommerce store and fixed the schema data to help search engines understand the content of your website better. The website structure to navigate users thoroughly on the client’s website, and crawling issues by deleting duplicate pages, and setting necessary parameters in robots. txt. And with 301 redirects. This helped a lot in the eyes of search engines for a higher ranking.

✅ Keyword Research: Secondly, after technical fixes, we moved to on-page activities like keyword research, as the competition was pretty high we started optimizing pages with proper meta content specific to the targeted location (Bangalore), internal linking structure, placed CTAs, image alt texts, and then we fixed an inquiry form which was not gathering the data from the customer to the client with help of a developer.

✅ Strong GMB profile: Later, the client was worried about the GMB profile because it was not getting verified by Google. We fixed the GMB profile issues and phone number-related issues by connecting with the support team from Google. Then we optimized their GMB profile with the proper keywords the client asked for. This results in better performance for local users to navigate to the ecommerce store, increasing walk-ins and calls.

As shown in the below graph, we saw a remarkable change in organic traffic on the client’s website from 3389 to 10,018.
