Mostly Local Business owners want to convert their audience from PPC campaigns. They know the power of Local SEO but they don’t invest in it. We had a local resort manager, who wanted to grow their audience and increase their website traffic organically.

We discussed with clients how they can easily get ranked in SERPs and GMB through some low-hanging fruit methods and observations.

Local SEO: As a local business owner GMB must be on priority, it was evident that they were lacking in Local SEO.

On-page Optimization: Observed, that UI was not too SEO friendly, CTAs were missing, and High-Quality pictures missing. 

Off-page Activities: The Client discussed that the performance of the previous agency was declining, and through analysis, we found there are fewer links referring to the client’s website.

Technical SEO: As a resort owner, the website must be filled with lots of High-Quality images, which decreases website speed. Design and CSS were to be fixed for a user-friendly UI.

GMB Optimizations: We optimized the Google Business Profile with all attributes and details, and updated descriptions with relevant keywords to boost ranking in SERP. They were behind in Google reviews. We discussed and told our client how important is the review system, and they agreed to ask for reviews from their members.

Foundational Link Building: As a local business, it’s obvious to build as much as Local Directory links, premium business listings, and Press Release submissions as possible for the resort case study. Also, we focused on quality context backlinks to support and uplift our pages on SERP.

Technical Aspects: We faced major web page speed issues. So, optimized the resort website by reducing image sizes, minifying CSS and Javascript files, and fixing design issues. We categorized pages and fixed slugs for better results.
